Community Asset Mapping
Lewis County Autism Coalition
Lewis County is one of the pilot communities of the Community Asset Mapping Project. The goal of the Lewis County Autism Coalition is to promote awareness and resources that enable individuals to make informed decisions that will improve the quality of life for people with Autism and Asperger Syndrome, their families and their community. The Coalition began its work in February, 2010 and meets monthly.

This annual conference attracts 200 professionals and parents from all sectors and corners of Lewis County. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Wendy Stone, Director of the University of Washington Autism Center.
The coalition has also developed a Lewis County Roadmap ( English, Spanish) to help parents of young children recognize early signs of autism and know where to go to have their questions answered.
